these are much sturdier than ones we've used before. They don't fall apart when you tear them off & they are not hard to peel open. Once open, they are a good size. we normally take them out to the trash every other day & they don't seem overly flimsy with things like orange , banana peels & dinner scraps. I will purchase againI was new to composting, so I didn’t realize how fast compostable bags can start to break down. I ended up with moisture and debris making their way into my little compost trash can during the week. Change the bags often and you won’t have a problem. Still recommend. Good value for the money.Composting is new to the condo complex we live in so I followed the instructions I was given. The City provided the counter “bucket” and we bought the bags recommended by our President. They seem to hold up and I haven’t noticed any odor at all.This canister is sturdy, looks great, and very functional for keeping the veggie discards in an easy and good looking place on the counter by the sink. It has a large capacity and I love it.Home composting container. Haven't use it long enough to know for sure how good it is.The bags are perfect for the small organic food can I purchased. I would suggest using 2 bags to compensate for the weight when your waste is a bit too much.I wish it came with a holder so the bag could be draped over it allowing for easier access.As compared to other compostable bags we have tried for our home composting, these have worked the best. Strong, sturdy, and hold up even with a bit of moisture.
