I love how everyone can remove their shoes, coats and hats at the front door now.I've wanted something to place inside by door for years. Initially, I had planned to purchase or have my husband build something that was all wood. When I found the industrial hall trees online, I loved them. This one had high reviews and the price wasn't too expensive. My husband put it together by himself in a little over an hour. He's a builder/fabricator and I was afraid he was say it was 'a piece of junk'. But, he told me that he was impressed with how it was made. He'd prefer that it had real wood, but thought the faux wood would last for a long time. His only complaint was the type of screws they sent to put it together. They were die cast and not machined, which are more inclined to strip and not hold over time. His solution was to use 'lock-tight' on each screw. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase.Relatively easy to assemble. All pieces needed were included. Able to be assembled by one person.So I read the reviews before attempting to together and was prepared to need a lot of help from husband. Surprisingly it only took me about an hour and a half and I only needed him twice, once to help me hold the 2 vertical side pieces so I could put in a few screws for the connector bars, and once to help with the seat because it was pretty heavy to try and hold and screw at the same time.The product looks very nice once assembled and was easy to move by myself. We haven't installed the anchors yet but it's still sturdy enough to sit on, at least for me and my kids.My only complaints:1. I didn't have a 2nd hole for the bottom hook rack. Fortunately the unit is snug enough with all the screws tightened that the board doesn't swing back and forth, or even wiggle at all really, but if it hadn't been so snug I can see that being an issue.2. The holes for the small diagonal support rods did not line up AT ALL so I was unable to install those.3. The screws for the x-bars on the back under the seat were either too large, or the holes were too small, but either way, not even my husband could force the screws in and he's a big dude. So I don't have the cross bars on the bottom, but with the storage bins I have on there, it's not really noticeable.I love this hall tree, its perfect for our space. I use the bottom shelves for my kids shoes, and under the bench i have a mud mat for my husbands shoes. The hooks are big, and perfect for bags, jackets and hats. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a storage solution for their front door. The bench is also great for putting on your shoes, and is very sturdy.So easy to assemble and goes great with my decor.Was very easy to assemble by myself and looks amazing! It looks just as good as the ad photos.We have a small recessed area at the front door of our new house, and I knew I wanted a hall tree for the space. I measured it and found this perfect one -- the dimensions were just what I needed. Unfortunately I must have measured wrong (entirely possible) or perhaps the hall tree was a bit longer than stated. Whatever the case, it doesn't fit --- it's just an inch or two longer than the space. You can't imagine how upset and frustrated that made me.Aside from that, the hall tree LOOKS great, exactly what I wanted. The gray barn-wood-look is cute and trendy. I love that the bench is strong enough for us to sit on while putting on shoes. I keep clean masks on the hooks, and a basket on the top shelf to hold masks that need a wash. The angled shelves add interest and a bit of sturdiness to the piece. I really like it, just need to find another spot to keep it!I was looking for an item like this but most were too small and would be drowned in my front hall, this one is perfect tho. Well made, everything lines up and when built it’s very strong. I’ve hung a metal grid on mine (also from Amazon) to hang things off and the two items together are perfect for shoes, jackets, bags and keys for a family of 4. Wooden look seat is much stronger than I thought it would be too.Second one we have ordered. Very happy with the first one so order another to go next to it but this one came damaged which we didn't see until all parts unboxed. They are unable to send us a replacement part so we now have to work out how to repackage all parts and wait in for collection. Very sturdy and elegant. Worth checking the panels for damage before assembling, the first one we received had scratches and had to be returned.
